Protecting You From Covid 19

Risk Assessment

As lock-down restrictions have eased and we are due to be welcoming visitors again we want to assure all our guests that we are doing everything we can to ensure their safety.  We have always maintained high standards of cleanliness and hygiene but as a result of a comprehensive risk assessment we will be taking the following additional precautions in order to protect our guests and our staff.

Effective 24th September 2020 guests are asked to check-in wearing face coverings.  Face coverings will be worn by all staff in communal areas and we ask guests to do the same expect when sat in the breakfast room or bar/lounge.

Preventative Measures

Please use the hand sanitizer provided as soon as you arrive or better still, wash your hands thoroughly in the downstairs cloakroom.

If you are feeling unwell in any way during your stay, please let us know immediatley.

Breakfast will continue to be served in the dining room but we will be operating two "sittings" in order to preserve social distancing.

Fruit, Cereals, Juices and Yoghurt will be displayed in the dining room but we will serve these to you.  Please do not help yourself.

Condiments, Sauces and Sugar will be provided in sachets to avoid the use of bottles.

The Guest Lounge will remain open but this will be restricted to a maximum of four persons maintaining social distancing.

Our staff are advised to wash their hands continuously throughout the day and we would encourage you to do the same, particularly when entering or leaving the building.

Shared surfaces in common areas such as light switches, door handles, stair rails and furniture will be disinfected regularly during your stay.

Hand sanitizer will be available in common areas.

Your Room

Your room will have been thoroughly deep cleaned prior to your arrival.

We will no longer enter your room on a daily basis but we ask you to help us by placing your tray outside your room as you come down for breakfast.  Any rubbish should also be placed outside your room along with any linen you would like refreshed in the Laundry bags provided.
