In October Weymouth plays host to the annual beach motocross. This event always draws huge crowds who can watch the racing for free from the Esplanade.
For those of you looking for a bit of exhilaration, why not try a 1.5 mile ride across the beautiful Dorset countryside on a Quad Bike, an off-road drive in a Mini Mavrik or even the chance to pilot a hovercraft. These high adrenalin sports are available individually or combined in day or half day group packages all year round.
For the younger ones there are also go-karts, mini cars and bumper boats at Weymouth's LeisureRanch in the Lodmoor Country Park.
