Breakfast
Enjoy a delicious and filling home-cooked breakfast in Oaklands grand Edwardian dining room. Breakfast tends to be a leisurely affair as we provide an extensive choice of food, which is individually cooked to order. We try to source our food from Dorset producers whenever we can. Vegetarian alternatives are always available and other special diets can be catered for with adequate notice. Typical Breakfast Menu |
WeymouthWith an exceptionally mild climate and soft, sandy beaches, it is easy to see why King George III and the Royal family spent so many of their holidays in Weymouth. But that's by no means all the town has to offer.
A restored Victorian fort, buildings of historic interest and colourful gardens now mix harmoniously with the new town centre shopping complex, a multiplex cinema and 10-pin bowling alley. The picturesque harbour is home to countless fishing boats, pleasure craft and yachts, as well as Condor's high-speed ferries making daily trips to the Channel Islands. Our B&B is conveniently located within easy walking distance of all of Weymouth's major attractions, so if you are wondering where to stay, look no further than Oaklands. Weymouth is truly an all year round destination. |

Directions
Oaklands luxury bed and breakfast accommodation is approximately five minutes walk from Weymouth's spectacular Georgian seafront and 10 to 15 minutes walk from the town centre. If you are driving to us from the Dorchester direction, take the A354 to Weymouth. As you come over the Ridgeway into Weymouth, keep following the main road down the hill and then straight on at the traffic lights. At the first roundabout, go straight across, past the Morrison's supermarket on your left. You will pass a Lidl supermarket on your left and then a parade of shops on both sides. Just past the shops, turn right into Carlton Road North and then take the second left into Glendinning Avenue. Our B&B is at the far end of the road on the right hand side. Car parking is available in front of the property and to the rear, off Carlton Road South. Weymouth train station is approximately 10 minutes walk from our B&B. Alternatively, taxis are usually available immediately outside the station. |
