Enjoy a delicious and filling home-cooked breakfast, an essential part of your Weymouth bed and breakfast experience
Breakfast is served in the grand Edwardian dining room, which still contains the original plaster ceiling mouldings that have been elaborately painted in lime green, aubergine and gold.
Breakfast tends to be a leisurely affair as we provide an extensive choice of food which is individually cooked to order.
The emphisis with your breakfast is to provide local produce. We are associate members of Direct from Dorset, which means we source our food from Dorset producers whenever we can. Since we arrived at the beginning of 2007 we have sourced our sausages and eggs from Wyke Oliver Farm, which is a couple of miles from us, and our bacon from Stevens Farm Shop. We are the sole providers of this top quality bacon in Weymouth! Our milk comes from Craig's Farm Dairy at Osmington. The butter is from Wyke Farm Dairy just over the border in Somerset.
Where we lead others follow. We are setting the standard for providing top quality local produce to our guests.
Vegetarian alternatives are always available and we are more than happy to cater for any other special diets that maybe required, so please let us know when you book.
If we cannot buy local products we try to source Fairtrade products wherever we can. Guests will find a range of products including sugar and coffee and the choice is increasing all the time. See the Fair Trade website Fair Trade Foundation.
